To promote the entrepreneurship and encourage people to farm rabbits, a training was provided to 50 families from two communities of North Kathmandu i.e. Chogaun and Kisandole. In addition to training, each family were also provided with four rabbits. The training was done with the help of The Himalayan Rabbit Farm whereas the funding for the rabbit was done by Rotaract Club of Kings Ville and Rotaract Club of Tripureshwor. In the current scenario the people have already started generating basic income via rabbit farming and are really encouraged. Also in the meantime North Kathmandu and The Himalayan Rabbit Farm are planning for a collaboration to promote more entrepreneurs in North Kathmandu.
